Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall sensation, Livingstone Etse Satekla, also known as Stonebwoy, has emerged as the winner of the Artiste of the Year award at the 2024 3Music Awards.
The event, which took place at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra on September 28, 2024, saw Stonebwoy clinch the top award, beating stiff competition from artistes including King Promise, Sarkodie, Black Sherif and Nacee.
He also went home with the Reggae/Dancehall Act of the Year award on the night.
Black Sherif also emerged as a big winner, taking home the awards for Hiplife/Hip Hop Act of the Year and Performer of the Year.
Olivetheboy also had a remarkable night, securing multiple accolades including EP of the Year and Breakthrough Act of the Year.
King Promise’s hit ‘Terminator’ was honoured as the Viral Song of the Year, while Sarkodie’s “Otan” clinched the title for HipHop Song of the Year.
The event also recognised Nacee’s ‘Aseda’ as the Gospel Song of the Year, and Tyla’s ‘Water’ was celebrated as the African Song of the Year.
The night highlighted the rich and varied musical landscape, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity within the industry.
