Efya hardly answers to rumors or allegations when leveled against her so it took most people by surprise when in a recent post she came out hard. From the alleged dating rumors with Sarkodie to that of Wizkid in Nigeria, Efya hardly gives attention to any.
However, in a recent twitter post, she has expressed how some works she has been involved with in the past should be treated going forward.” If I did a verse for you and its past 3 years, please don’t drop that song.” This has got many of her followers asking if she believes she could have done a better delivery on those songs.
Some netizens are questioning if she is indirectly referring to Sarkodie. Efya continuing on Twitter added “I am definitely not the same person musically, sonically, lyrically, ………” She has hence advised her former music collaborators to come for a better verse from her now. Some of her followers have complained about her recent releases stating how they miss her old songs and how relatable they were.
Efya got her first exposure to fame during her participation in the maiden edition of the “Stars of the Future” talent show organized by Chatter house. She then went on to win the Best Female Vocal Performance category at the Ghana Music Awards four times starting from 2011.
