Marwako Fast Food closed for some months, especially their East Legon Branch can be re-opened to the general public for dinning purposes.
Marwako can open now after the Food and Drugs Authority cleared it of all operational risk health wise after some patrons months ago complained of food poisoning.
“The Food and Drugs Authority notifies the general public that it has lifted the suspension of catering activities at the East Legon and Abelenkpe branches of Marwako”.
The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) in a statement released Friday says the reopening of the two Marwako Fast food joints follows the satisfaction with the company’s implementation of corrective prevention actions (CAPA).
“Meanwhile, the public should note that the La Branch remains closed whilst the Spintex branch is going through the process to be formally issued with the requiste food Hygiene permit to start operations”.
Marwako Fast Food was in news months ago and trending on social media for days when complaint circulated about how food purchased over one weekend led to individuals been hospitalized for suspected food poisoning.
The Food and Drugs Authority has however assured the public of strictly monitoring of all operations of Marwako to ensure safety measures put in place are consistently complied with.
