Naa K speaks on near imprisonment.

Naa K one-half of the now non existing hip life group Nkasei has come out to share some experiences that led to the group quitting music and relocating to the United Kingdom. Known in real life as Isaac Mensah, he continued that upon getting to UK, he joined the army for a period. Naa K noted that having given himself five years to work in the army, he resigned after.

Afro Yesuz as his new showbiz name, has returned unto the Ghanaian music scene with a new song “party non stop”.. Sharing his experience as a once very sort after rapper he recalled that some years ago a lady accused him of rape and he was taken to court. The case only lasted for 6 months because the court didn’t gather enough evidence so he was let go.

Naa K in a radio interview with Peace Fm’s Akwasi Aboagye, continued that at a point in time he went into depression. He nearly jumped unto an on coming train. It was Anas Aremeyaw the investigative journalist who spoke to him and he reconsider his suicidal tendency. Also pressure from the UK army was not easy he noted. He also turned to God when the army pressure increased and he even became a Sunday school teacher.

In 2017 January, he had a spiritual experience and was asking God why things were happening the way they were. As a Christian the way things were going didn’t make up and got me rethinking. Then a voice told him whiles he was driving one of his logistic cars that, “the answers you seek is within you”.

Naa K added his biggest lesson in life was the inner peace he get knowing that contentment is the key to life’s success. He completed his education at the Takoradi Polytechnic where he obtained an HND certificate in Accountancy.

The group Nkasei’s last album was  “Action”, which had the controversial song; ‘Yefri Tuobodom’ that won them the 2006 Ghana Music Award for hiplife Album of the year.
