Former President Mahama Supports Yagbonwura’s Funeral

The Former President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. John Dramani Mahama has donated some food items to support the funeral rites of Late Gonja King, Yagbonwura Tuntumba Bore – Essa ( I ).

The former President made the donation on Friday, 10th February, 2023 when he attended the 3rd day Funeral rites “Adua” of the late king at Damongo in the Savannah region.

The food items were handed over to the funeral planning committee Chairman, Mankpanwura Jakpa Achor – Ade Borenyi ( I ) by the Member of Parliament for Bole, Hon. Yussif Sulemana ( Ore ).

The items include: 20 bags of rice, 2 bags of maize, 2 bags of Cassava, 2 gallon of cooking oil, packs of voltic mineral water, a bull and a cash amount of Ten thousand Ghana cedis ( Ghc 10,000 ).

Former President Mahama was accompanied by Regional and constituency executives of the NDC in the Savannah region, some members of Parliament from the Northern and Savannah regions, former members of parliament from the savannah region and other Big wigs of the NDC.-
