Captain Solomon Quainoo joins McDan Aviation?

Captain Solomon Quainoo is the first Ghanaian to fly the world’s biggest passenger aircraft. He landed on Ghanaian soil with the Emirates Airbus A380 from Dubai to Accra on October 2nd, 2018.

This was celebrated by most Ghanaians and the world at large as it made big news. Captain Solomon Quainoo has piloted the Boeing 737 and 300 to 500 series. He has also worked with the British Airways as a material Agent/Design engineer. He has worked with Emirates currently for seven years where he was promoted to captain.

In a current tweet via his handle, Captain Solomon Quainoo tweeted “Goodbye Emirates, Hello McDan”. He also accompanied it with various shots in and around the McDan private jet.

Many of his follows have congratulated him only if the move is what it is and are wishing him all the best in his new endeavour.

Captain Solomon Quainoo was awarded Aviation man of the Year in West Africa during the 2019 edition of the Balafon Awards. He has a master’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.
