The life insurance product operating on the MTN mobile money platform, will provide customers with cover for hospitalization and deaths. The cover starts with as low as GHS 3.00 to a maximum premium of GHS 22. The guaranteed sum assured amounts from GHS 1,000.00 to GHS10,0000 in the event of death. Also the hospitalization benefit ranges from GHS 10 to GHS 100.00 per night if one is admitted to the hospital for 30 nights in a year.
Speaking at the lunch in Accra, Chief Executive Officer for Allianz life, Mr. Gideon Ataraire noted how the insurance product will bring a lot of comfort and peace of mind to Ghanaians. “We look forward to securing the lives of our customers through the MoMo platform; thus, providing speed and convenience in the delivery of insurance products.

He noted that the MoMo API platform has been a great success for entrepreneurs who are taking advantage of the platform to grow their business urging all Ghanaians to sign unto the product.
